From Stalled to Strategic

What Makes Our Work Different

How we work with leaders and teams — and why it's different from the usual playbook.

A Clear Path

A proven process, from stalled to strategic.

From Stalled to Strategic — a five-step client process from a stalled initiative to a leader focused on high-value work.

Most executives have never had a true outside thought partner — someone with deep HR and organizational expertise who will also tell them the truth. We bring both.

I'm an ICF-certified coach with a Columbia Business School MBA and a career that spans Wall Street, executive search, and over a decade of coaching senior leaders across corporate, nonprofit, and family office environments. I've worked alongside executives managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios, led leadership development programs at major universities, and designed performance systems for organizations that had outgrown their infrastructure.

We don't do off-the-shelf programs. Every engagement is built around your specific situation, your goals, and the real dynamics at play in your organization.

How We Work

  1. 01

    Engagements that go deep

Most run six to eighteen months — long enough to go deep, short enough to stay focused.

  2. 02

    Assessments where they add value

We use structured tools — Hogan, DiSC, 360-degree feedback — when they sharpen the picture, not by default.

  3. 03

The real work is the conversation

Frameworks help, but change happens in the candid, confidential conversations between them.

  4. 04

Built for what's on the line

Clients come to me when something important is at stake. I take that seriously.

Clear Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

A concise view of how the work starts, which tools may be used, and what makes the engagement different.

How does an engagement begin?

An engagement begins by clarifying what is at stake and understanding the system around the issue—not just the individual symptom. That includes listening to leaders and teams, examining roles and accountability, and identifying the conversations or operating habits holding performance back.

Which assessments may be used?

Depending on the situation, Lindsey Honari Advisors may use Hogan assessments, DiSC, 360-degree feedback, and other structured tools. Assessments are used when they sharpen the picture, not as a default substitute for direct conversation.

What makes this approach different from a workshop?

The work is designed for durable behavior and performance change rather than a one-time event. Frameworks and workshops can support the process, but the core work happens through candid conversations, practical decisions, and sustained accountability over time.

Can Lindsey work with leaders outside Houston?

Yes. Lindsey Honari Advisors is based in Houston and works with leaders and organizations across the United States and internationally, using in-person and virtual formats as appropriate.
